Senseless CRAP!!!

Tiny & Toya! I still cant get over this catastrophic creation. How is it that we can have all these shows popping up everywhere? No substance, no moral, no lesson what-so-ever! Instead of paying attention to the things that are affecting our lives and the lives of people around the world, we're sitting here watching someone who already got their own millions and are making more millions from the shows that we are watching! Can we have an educational show please? Maybe something that can help teach us as a people get out of debt... something that can deter high school students from dropping out... or something that can be beneficial to our lives or the futures of our children???!!! Is that really too much too ask for. Come on black people!! Get a different mindframe! Not a "White" Mindframe...a different one...a POSITIVE one! Even I'm guilty of taking part in watching these senseless reality shows, but there has to come a point when you wake up and you're like "What the Fuck am I REALLY watching?" UGH!

Michael left his mark...What mark will you leave??

Just as I said in my Mom's Happy Birthday post... you never know when you will take your last breath on this earth. Just like that... you could be gone. Take Charge of your destiny and make the most of what you have. Make the best use of your time while you're here. Stop B-S-ing around with your life. Michael is gone, but he sure wont be forgotten. He is a great example of taking charge of your destiny and making the most of the lives we are given. His music was and is his legacy. That's what he is leaving on the earth... that is his mark. What's yours?

Stop walking around saying..." IT is what it is" because it's not! Regardless of what sh*thole you are in...you can always make a way when there is no way. With God's help anything is possible!

Unconditional Love- On Being in LOVE

The true meaning of love is found in the word "unconditional". Loving someone through their flaws and all. Accepting and embracing each others differences and compromising with their offerings.

Being "In Love" can be one of the best and worst feelings that a person can experience. Loving someone can bring out emotions that you never even knew existed. When that person comes around you feel butterflies in your stomach and you just want to be at your best for them. You want them to see you and love you for who you are... no matter what. You want them to love you unconditionally. If that person is your soulmate, you feel it... in your spirit, in the air you breathe, in the things you say, in the way you kiss, its just seems to be everywhere. Loving someone unconditionally can be difficult at times, because everyone has different opinions on things but, its up to the people in the relationship to respect each others choices and make a compromise. I think thats what love is about. If you love a person you should do whatever it takes to be with them and stay with them. Sometimes love is difficult, but who said it wouldn't be? Nothing Good comes Easy!

So if you are in love, keep it flowing, keep it pumping through your veins! if you want that love to blossom into something even more beautiful, take charge of it. Love isn't something that just "IS". You have to work at it. I learned that the hard way. "You have to work at it!" No relationship just "IS". DO what it takes to hold on to the one you love because in a flash, that person could be gone. Appreciate Love. Don't take it for granted!

Thought-Insight

Sometimes we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life, that we often forget the most important things. We forget to call, just to say "Hey, How are you?" We forget to take the time to look around us and see what's really going on in our lives. We often focus on other peoples issues instead of dealing with our own. That cant really work though, because if your "stuff" is broken then you definitely don't have the resources to fix someone else's "stuff". So take time to realize what's really important and what's really going on. Take charge of things... don't just say "It is what it is" because it's not. Say "It is what I make it". And even if you don't get what you want, at least you'll know that you tried with all the power and might thats in you. And thats the best thing a person can do... Try.

Thought

Some Days are just so difficult to go about. Today is one of those days. It baffles me sometimes, how much life takes its turns on us. It gives us EXTREME highs and lows without so much as a clue or warning of what is about to come.

Over the past few months I have dealt with so much...from being Confused, Disillusioned, Lost, in Love, in Pain, Unsure about things; you name it- i probably experienced it between the months of April - June. I am still coming to terms with my moms passing, and I am so proud of myself for being so positive through it all. Growing up isnt easy, but i'm getting there.

I just finished reading this book a few days ago. It is such an awesome book and gives so much insight to things that women should know, but don't necessarily realize. Steve Harvey has done a great job and I recommend this book for anyone who is curious about what men think, why they do what they do, and so many various issues dealing with relationships. This book has helped me realize what I should be doing better to have a happy and healthy relationship. Men are simple creatures. It's just their nature not to complicate things. Steve Harvey touches on subjects such as that one and so much more!...It's a Reader!

Happy Birthday Mom!

With My Mom's passing in April of this year, I have come to the realization now more than ever, that life should never be taken for granted. Nothing is ever promised and we must Carpe Diem. We must take advantage of the time we have here on this earth. Let the ones we love know that we love them. Tell them that they are all we need and more. I am so glad that I had the opportunity to tell my Mom that I Loved her before she passed. That, along with various other circumstances before and after her passing, has given me such comfort. I had to pretty much grow up the span of a 1.5 months. The love and support from my siblings and extended family has greatly helped me out. My best friend Kimberly has been there for me through so much of this and I am so thankful to have her in my life. Even through her own struggles she never once let me down. It hasn't been an easy road, but I have been praying and meditating and asking for Divine help and strength to guide me through this tough time. And so, with this BLOG. I just hope to share any of my personal experiences with anyone who has been through or is going through something similar. I want to help someone as well as to play my part in the bigger picture. Something that my Mom did so selflessly. I want to make her proud.
