Only a few more hours until I'm heading home! Im so glad to be leaving this concrete jungle for a bit! The first thing Im gonna do is have a nice looong sleep. because i've been up since about 9pm and when I get off of work in the AM, I've gotta finish packing and get ready for my flight at 1pm!

Hopefully the hammock is still in working condition! Gonna have me some good food and see my bestie!! See my crazy niece and nephew and my bro n sis!

Then on Sat...hopefully im not feeling too lazy and we can hit up the beach! I'll be sure to take lots of pics and post on Facebook.

TIme is of the Essence

My sis posted this link on her facebook profile some time ago. Its called "love without talking". I fell in love love love with this video. ITs such a great example of how a person can find love in the most awkward, strange and random situations. How one person can totally change your life whether you realize it or not.

Anyway, there was one part towards the end if this video, where the guy goes to work looks out the window and realizes that the girl is not there anymore. Now the day before he had something to ask this girl but he hesitated and when he finally got the nerve to ask it was almost too late. This short film is such a great example of "Carpe Diem"...seizing the day.

I think that it is so important to take charge of your life, ask the questions you want to ask, don't wait until its too late. this doesn't mean to be hasty and jump on every bandwagon that comes along, because some bandwagons will definitely lead you down a path of destruction. But rather don't let things pass you by. Be tasteful in your life choices and if its something that will make you happy, whether it's being with someone, a new job, a new venture, a new hobby, whatever it is, take a chance!

Go for it, while being mindful of what you are doing. Whatever you're pursuing, know that everything has a purpose in your life, even if the outcome isn't what you want it to be. At least you made an effort!

Ugh!!! It's been such a looong couple of days!! Been dealing with a lot of stuff. And getting ready for my flight on Friday! Im super excited to be heading home! Tomorrow is my last night at work! Thank goodness! Im halfway packed just gotta get a couple of things in order and finish up doing laundry when I get off in the AM.

Im so Excited!!! And I just cant hide it!

SO...Im very excited to be going home to the V.I.! Its official ...GOt my ticket and Im leaving on the 31st for 2 weeks of fun and relaxation...goodbye Miami! Hello Good food, Family and Friends. Ahh so much I want to do when I go home....I need to find my ass at Buck Island thats for sure...I've never been to Buck Island...that sucks! Cuz its right there. I gotta go snorkeling at home...if snorkeling in Miami is fun Im sure it will be superduperiouciously fanstastico at Home. I cant wait to see my crazy niece and nephew who no doubt will be killing me with the jokes ...lol. And My Kimmy ! Oh how I miss my Bff!! We will have a birthday celebration!!!!

Im also excited cuz I wont be working at this crappy motel/hotel....whatever they wanna call it!!!! Can we say Ghetto! and Rosie Dont do Ghetto!!! Lol

Im just Loving and Living Life right now!! *^_^*

I found my happy place and I'm hoping and praying that God will keep me here throughout the duration of this year!

So Disappointed by Harry Potter...Randoms

So today I was EXTRA exhausted since i was running on like 4 hrs of sleep. Later in the Afternoon I went to see the new Harry Potter Movie with my roommate and the little girl I was babysitting for the day. So we go to the movie and it was a good movie. Im not a Harry Potter Fanatic, but I like it enough to watch....BUT im still like where the eff is the rest of the movie...

The whole point of the movie was for Dumbeldore to die!!! And i wasnt the only one...even the man that was sitting behind us was like "where's the rest of it?...is it comin out next week?" Lol I couldnt help but laugh

Hoodlums Break-ins and Migraines

SO...I went to work last night...ugh :0/ What a night! First of all I was feeling like crap and I had a mini headache. Then we're hosting a bunch of students from all over the world who came to learn English for the summer and then we have the local Miami hoodlums who decided they wanted to stay at the hotel. They were at the pool outside of the main building acting the fool. The bring their little hoodlum buddies park this Yukon Denali outside the main office and start blasting music like this is a frikkin racetrack parking lot. Hello! This is a place of business, not the f*ckin Fast and the Furious.

LAter on in the night one of our students came to get a bottle of water and he complains to me that the hoodlums were tryin to invade their little party and tried to pick fights with them. How fucking rude! I was so pissed! Cuz the students are suuuuppperr nice and their all gonna be here for like 2 months. These hoodlums are only there for 1 night!!

SO I went outside told the hoodlums to take the loudness down the block or turn it off. So they turn it off. I go to check the pool. There are like 15 ppl at the pool. I ask them.."Is everyone a guest here?" they said yes...Im like what's the room number? and they tell me. Now, the rooms are based on double occupancy so I knew all of those 15 people were not guests but I was like eff it...I don't have time for this shit!

And so continues my night when some asshole decides to break into the hotel next door, so the other front desk guy comes over for me to have a look at the window he was trying to break into! LOL I've never seen anything more hilarious in my life. HAHA So there's this HUGE ass stick sticking out of the plexiglass window he was trying to break into. The front desk guy just left for the manager to see because he didn't want to touch it.

And during all this my tiny headache had developed into a migraine! And HAd to pick up one of the little girls I babysit on the way home! Only because I love her and I haven't seen her in such a long time! :) *Love you Siarah* :) So I came home and had to ask the neighbor for some Ibuprofen b/c I couldn't find the tylenol!! Im feeling like a million bucks right now tho'! And so was the story of my tumultuous night at work!

Sorry ...I know its been a while!

Hi Guys!... first off I wanna say thanx to those of you who have been following me thus far! It is MUCH appreciated!

The past few days were a little hectic for me. I've been working so much! Getting everything in order and such. Planning to take some vacation time in August before school starts. I've also been doing some brain/soul searching to figure out where I want to be in a years time which is when I'll be done with school. I've come to the conclusion that I really don't know yet. I will however continue to work on my music for sure. I plan to explore all options before I make a choice.

New Found Bitch-i-ness

So, Today I realized that I have this "New found sense of Bitchiness". I can be a real bitch if you get on the wrong side. I never knew I had it in me. Earlier at work a guest came to ask for some extra sheets...so she comes and asks for 4 sets of extra sheets. So now I'm like.."How many people are in your room. She says 3 adults 1 child. I check her reservation and it says 2 adults 1 child. I tell her that there is nothing i can do for her right now....she has to wait until the morning when housekeeping is in. ....I am not Housekeeping. ...She needs to pay the fee for the extra person -$30. She starts ranting and raving about how she is going to complain to the manager ..blah blah blah....shes still looking at me like where are her sheets? I am the manager at this time, so she can complain all she wants she's still gonna end up paying extra and not get any sheets anyway!

Today, I was given the best news of my life. I am cancer free and am not, at the ripe age of 23 going to bite the dust. My husband left his journal on the nightstand in our bedroom. He wrote, "I feel like a bad person, but if she dies, I don't have to get divorced." FML

*Adventures in Snorkeling*

I went Snorkeling at Ft. Lauderdale Beach today! OMG! it Was so much fun! I saw this beautiful parrot fish...it was a really pretty turquoise color. I also saw some "bumblebee fish"...lol idk what they're really called. Swimming with the fishies is soooo much fun and it's relaxing. It's sad that I'm from an island and it takes me coming to Miami to finally go snorkeling. Im so glad that I did it! Thanks Phianah!!Muah! No Pics this time but next time for sure! I cant wait!
